What happens if the team determines the behavior was a manifestation of my child's disability?

The school must take steps required by IDEA, which include:

Conducting an FBA, unless one was already conducted before the behavior happened

Implementing or modifying a BIP

Returning the child to the placement from which they were removed, unless an exception applies or the parent and school agree otherwise
